The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Hong Kong (CIM HK) is pleased to support GS1 Hong Kong SCM Excellence Summit 2008 cum First Hong Kong RFID Awards 2008 to be held at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 10 October 2008.

GS1 Hong Kong, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the design and implementation of global supply chain standards and solutions in Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta Region (PRD), has been organising the Supply Chain Management Summit since 2001, which aims at assisting Hong Kong enterprises to exchange the most up-to-date innovative business strategy on modern supply chain management and EPC/RFID in order to better serve today's competitive market needs. It is Hong Kong's premier supply chain management event.

The 2008 GS1 Hong Kong SCM Excellence Summit aims to be a platform linking Hong Kong enterprises to the global economy and integrating with China as a manufacturing and logistics base through driving supply chain standardisation, technology and infrastructure development.

This year's theme, "Achieving Business Sustainability", will present key issues and topics critical to the future success and sustainability of business in the new era of globalization.
