The UEM Bill forum was successfully held on August 23, 2006 . The Keynote Speaker, Mr. Henry Chang explained clearly on the Bill while other two speakers, Ms. Marisa Kwok and Mr. Edmond Sung shared with the audience their views and assessed the possible impacts of the Bill on the related industries. All the speakers reminded the audience that there could be new business opportunities for marketers after the bill passed.

It was underlined that a professional marketer should not respond quickly to the threat posed by the bill. Instead, a company should digest the bill at the moment and evaluate the company's relative strengths and weaknesses before proceeding further.

Many useful questions were raised by the participants who could get actively involved in the discussions during the forum where Mr. Anton Li did a good job of facilitating and summarizing the discussions in an unbiased manner.
