on professional services marketing in Asia

HK is pleased to invite Robert Sawhney, author of the new Marketing
Professional Services in Asia book to speak at the August seminar.
The talk will explain the relevance of strategy and marketing
to professional service firms like law and accountancy firms
and the inherent differences when compared to traditional marketing
methodologies often used in other business sectors, such as
consumer goods or traditional services.
Having spent 15 years in Hong Kong and worked with professional
service firms throughout Asia, Robert has a deep understanding
of this unique sector, and how marketing professional services
in Asia is sometimes at odds with marketing in the Western world. |

About
the Speaker
Robert Sawhney is the managing director of
SRC Associates Ltd, a pioneering Hong Kong based firm
that works in the areas of strategy, marketing, and leadership
for professional service firms. His book has been called
one of the most indigenous works on marketing in Asia
by Prof. Oliver Yau Hon Ming, Chair Professor of Marketing
at City University. Robert has worked with dozens of professional
service firms throughout Asia and elsewhere. His work
has been published extensively in leading journals such
as the Hong Kong Lawyer, Hong Kong Economic Times, The
Lawyer (UK), Hong Kong Accountant (now A Plus), and the
Business Times (Singapore).
Robert
is also the author of Marketing Asia, the only blog that
deals with professional services marketing in Asia. He
has an MBA from the University of Lincoln, and a bachelors
degree in management from Brunel University, London.
